These terms form the agreement between you and Brightmint Checkout for payment processing services. By creating an account you accept them.
Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 and legally able to accept payments for your business. Information you provide during verification must be accurate; we may pause payouts while checks complete, usually within one business day.
Fees and payouts
You pay only the per-sale rate on your plan — no setup, minimum or payout fees. Sales settle next business day to your verified bank account. Instant transfers cost a flat 50¢. Plans are month-to-month and can be changed or cancelled any time.
Acceptable use
You may not process payments for illegal goods, sanctioned parties, or businesses misrepresenting what they sell. We may suspend processing for suspected fraud or legal breaches, and will explain how to appeal.
Refunds and disputes
Refunds return to the original payment method the same day. If a customer disputes a charge, we debit the amount while the case is decided and help you file evidence; lost disputes may carry the card network’s standard fee.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before a claim. Nothing here limits rights you hold under consumer or financial law.
